On January 28th, the Program in Real Estate held its bi-annual REAL Career Fair. The event was held in Cassell Coliseum for the first time and over 20 companies participated. These companies, seeking both interns and full-time employees, represented many sectors of the real estate industry.

“The real estate career fair gave me a unique opportunity to network with professionals from some of the top real estate companies in the nation and explore all the different internship opportunities offered,” said Logan Hanton, a junior in the Program in Real Estate.

Approximately 100 students, from freshman to seniors, were in attendance.  Students majoring in real estate, finance, building construction, and property management to advantage of the opportunity, as did those in other fields of study.

“What an exciting evening with the opportunity to meet some exceptional students from the Virginia Tech Program In Real Estate pursing internships and full-time careers in real estate!” Curtis Mummau, Industry Advisory Board member representing Cushman Wakefield | Thalhimer, said.

The next REAL Career event is scheduled for Sept. 9, 2020, during the Fall 2020 semester.
