The Real Estate Club

The Real Estate Club at Virginia Tech is a club for students majoring and minoring in real estate, as well as those who are interested in the Real Estate Industry. The club often hosts guest speakers and tours various sites, and meets twice a month. 

President: Leslie Orellana

Hi everyone! My name is Leslie Orellana and I am a junior double majoring in Real Estate and Building Construction. This year, I will be serving as President and I am excited to help the club and program grow! I have experience in residential sales and in the construction industry as a Summer Associate for Clark Construction Group. In addition to the Real Estate Club, I am also the Director of Public Relations for Hokie Ambassadors, a mentor for the Pamplin Undergraduate Mentor Program, a Real Estate Ambassador, and a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma. I hope to create a space for students to grow their network with industry professionals, as well as fellow students. I look forward to meeting everyone soon and having a great year! 

Vice President: Elizabeth Valentin

Hi my name is Elizabeth Valentin and I am a senior majoring in Real Estate and minoring in Business! I will be serving as Vice President for the 2022-23 school year. I am so excited to be in this position and looking forward to all the people I will be networking with. I can't wait to gain valuable skills and help guide my fellow classmates to create strong relationships with our guest speakers and alumni board. This past summer I interned with Greystar in Washington D.C which was an amazing opportunity. I am also in Zeta Tau Alpha where I served as the Head of Recruitment for Spring' 22 rush and I am head of Crown Care for the Programs Council.

Secretary: Madison Roach

My name is Madison and I'm a senior double majoring in Finance and Real Estate! I'm honored to serve another year as Secretary of the Real Estate Club. Along with this, I am also a student mentor in the Pamplin Undergraduate Mentorship Program (PUMP) and a Teaching Assistant in the Department of Finance. I've had two property management internships with Palms Associates, LLC and Camden Property Trust. I am so excited to meet all of our fellow members over a very informative year of professional presenters. The Executive Board really wants collaboration with hosting our meetings, so please let us know who you would be interested in learning from!

Public Relations Officer: Jacob Argabright

Hey everybody! My name is Jacob Argabright and I am a senior majoring in Real Estate with a minor in Property Management. My time with the Blackwood Department of Real Estate has allowed me to widen my horizons and think outside of the box. Over the summer I helped Lakewood Capital Group in Wilmington, NC and was able to reach our 80% sales goal out of 100+ lots. I am active with my Fraternity Sig Ep and, through our philanthropy, we helped raise over $25,000 for those who are less fortunate throughout the NRV last semester. I am thrilled to share my knowledge and experience in my new role as Public Relations Officer by improving personal networks and ultimately making the Real Estate Club at Virginia Tech feel like home to everyone!

Hi! My name is Megan, and I am a sophomore double majoring in Real Estate and Finance. Last year, I was the Director of Finance for my hall council, and I am also in the Honors College. I am looking forward to being the treasurer of the real estate club, and I can't wait to meet everyone!
